Lučka Koščak (Ljubljana, 1957). She first studied languages at the University of Ljubljana and and made her diploma in 1981. Afterwards, she was teaching languages and conducting creative workshops for children. Through this work she discovered her thirst for artistic expression in creativity. She entered the Art Academy of Ljubljana and continued her studies at E.S.A.V. in Geneva, Switzerland where she obtained Master in 1991 from three-dimensional expression and post graduated in a program on creativity. Since then, she lives and creates between Geneva and Ljubljana, which is probably the main reason for the international character of her artistic work. She represented Slovenia in World Expo2000 in Hannover and in masterclass in St.Petersbourg in Russia.
Her works are in many private collection around the world and her public sculptures are placed in UNHCR and ITU entry halls in Geneva, Switzerland, sculpture of Mary with child in the Church of Zvewegem, Belgium and many of her sculptures are in public places and parks in Slovenia

She works in various materials ; from clay to stone and bronze… and snow. Her sculptures are sometimes of small terra-cotta and sometimes three meters high from cement.
