Lap Top Radio
LapTopRadio is a real nomadic radio: broadcasting irregularly on the internet with a most simple dispositive: a laptop with a modem connected to the mobile-phone network. If there is a mobile connection, we can broadcast. The old dream of independent pirate radio (but now on the internet) is coming true.
Listen to music and sounds from each participant’s hometown or country! Thematically, this project focuses on the idea of the expat and local in Geneva. It celebrates and even critically touches on the multi-cultural quality that Geneva has, as contributors were encouraged to research into the history and reasoning behind Geneva as an international destination of Europe and the world.
